Browning Repeats as Attacker of the Week
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Sahara Browning, a junior outside hitter from Walla Walla (Wash.), has been named the NAIA Attacker of the Week. Browning's outstanding contributions were pivotal in securing victories for her team.
During the past week, Browning demonstrated her offensive ability with an impressive average of 4.83 kills per set and a remarkable attack percentage of .349.
On September 5th, Browning led her team to a decisive 3-0 victory against RV Oregon Tech. In the match, she recorded 11 kills with an attack percentage of .276. Her all-around performance included eight digs and two aces. Browning's service aces and defensive efforts were instrumental in maintaining her team's momentum throughout the match.
The following day, Browning guided Walla Walla to another straight-set victory, this time against No. 19 Southern Oregon. She delivered an outstanding 18 kills for an average of six kills per set on an impressive .412 hitting percentage.
Browning accumulated a total of 29 kills, 11 digs and three service aces, amassing 33 points for her team. Her consistent performance, averaging 5.5 points per set, played a critical role in Walla Walla's success over the weekend.
