KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Emilio Cazares of Mobile (Ala.) collected NAIA Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week honors, while Logan Smith of Indiana Wesleyan was named the NAIA Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week. The duo was selected based on their performances from October 7-13 and were chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees. 

Players of the Week are announced weekly throughout the regular season on Tuesdays on naia.org, Instagram, and X.

Emilio Cazares, Mobile (Ala.) - SR - Forward

• Tallied a pair of hat tricks on the week
• Scored three goals in a 4-1 win over Florida National 
• Added three more goals in a 4-2 win at Life (Ga.)
• Had two game-winning goals on the week

NAIA Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week

Logan Smith, Indiana Wesleyan - SR - Goalkeeper

• Registered a shutout win over No. 9 Bethel (Ind.)
• Made nine saves in the 3-0 victory
• Boasts a 0.74 goals-against average and has four shutouts this season
