2024 NAIA Men's Soccer Players of the Week - No. 7 (October 8)
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Luke Persenico of Clarke (Iowa) secured NAIA Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, while Casey Ruvolo of Southern Oregon was named the NAIA Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week. The duo was selected based on their performances from September 30 - October 6 and were chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees.
Players of the Week are announced weekly throughout the regular season on Tuesdays on naia.org, Instagram, and X.

NAIA Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week
Luke Persenico, Clarke (Iowa) - SR - Forward
- Set new career-high for goals in a game with his four against No. 25 Baker (Kan.)
- Added another score in a road game at Culver-Stockton (Mo.)
- Netted five goals on 21 total shots, 15 of which were on frame
NAIA Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week
Casey Ruvolo, Southern Oregon - JR - Goalkeeper
- Stopped a PK to preserve a shutout against Eastern Oregon on Friday
- Helped the Raiders become the first team to shutout College of Idaho in 27 games
- Made nine total saves in two games and has only allowed one goal in conference play this season
