KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Marko Dordevic of Missouri Baptist claimed NAIA Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, while Javiero Izquierdo Cuervo of Cumberlands (Ky.) was honored as the NAIA Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week. The duo was selected based on their performances from August 26 - September 1 and were chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffilliated group nominees. 

Players of the Week are announced weekly throughout the regular season on Tuesdays on naia.org, Instagram, and X.

NAIA Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week

Marko Dordevic, Missouri Baptist - JR - Forward

• Scored six total goals across three games last week, putting 14 of 16 on frame
• Netted four points in each game for the Spartans
• Helped lead MBU to a 3-0 week in three road games 

NAIA Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week

Javiero Izquierdo Cuervo, Cumberlands (Ky.) - JR - Goalkeeper

• Was crucial in the Patriots upsetting No. 8 Mobile (Ala.) 1-0 
• Javiero marked four saves through the duration of the game, leaving the Rams scoreless
• Played all 90 minutes in goal as the team moved to 4-0 on the year
