KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Jordy Lopez of Madonna (Mich.) is the NAIA Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, while Ernesto Ascenzo of Viterbo (Wis.) was named the NAIA Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week. The duo was selected based on their performances from October 28 – November 3 and were chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees. 

Players of the Week are announced weekly throughout the regular season on Tuesdays on naia.org, Instagram, and X.

NAIA Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week

Jordy Lopez, Madonna (Mich.) - SR - Forward

• Scored four goals to help Madonna clinch the WHAC regular-season championship with a 5-0 win over Cornerstone (Mich.)
• Netted all four of his goals by the 22nd minute in the first half
• Leads Madonna with 15 goals on the season

NAIA Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week

Ernesto Ascenzo, Viterbo (Wis.) - SR - Goalkeeper

• Recorded a pair of shutout wins
• Made four saves in a 5-0 win over St. Ambrose (Iowa)
• Registered 15 saves in a 1-0 win over Olivet Nazarene (Ill.)
