Student-athletes were nominated for their performances and were selected out of a pool of conference and independent institutions award winners.

Week 1 (March 15, 2022)

Golfer of the Week: Robin Conlan, University of Victoria

Won Victoria's Vikes Spring Shootout by shooting a composite five-under-par score across two rounds. The native of Berlin, Germany, opened the tournament with a 68 round before carding a two-under-par 69 score. The Vikes Spring Shootout featured 44 players.

Golfer of the Week: University of the Southwest Team

In memoriam of the tragedy that occurred last week, the NAIA and its member institutions recognize the Men's Golf team of the University of the Southwest. In addition to the loss of head coach Tyler James, Travis Garcia, Maurice Sanchez, Tiago Sousa, and Jackson Zinn perished.

Week 3 (March 30, 2022)

Golfer of the Week: Florian Benner, Kesier (Fla.)

Florian shot 3-under par across the two round Palute Battle to finish in first place among the field of 99 total golfers.

Week 4 (April 6, 2022)

Golfer of the Week: Tyler Fox, USC Beaufort (S.C.)

Fox shot a 4-under par in a field of 70 total golfers. Shot six under in round one and was one over in the final two rounds.

Week 5 (April 13, 2022)

Golfer of the Week: Jack Maxey, Keiser (Fla.)

 

Claimed his second tournament title of the season and of his career. Collected 36 par putts and 13 birdies. Carded a one-under on par 3's and a three-under on par 4's and 5's. The award marks the first weekly honor of Maxey's career.

Week 6 (April 20, 2022)

Golfer of the Week: Michael Osborne, Truett McConnell (Ga.)

 

Osborne won the Mountain Empire Intercollegiate Tournament while the Bears finished as the runner-up amongst the 10 teams. Across the two rounds, he shot 69 on day one and then 67 on the second and final day.

Week 7 (April 27, 2022)

Golfer of the Week: Steve Kibare, Dalton State (Ga.)

 

Steve had a tremendous Southern States Athletic Conference Tournament, a 69 set in the second round, and winning the individual medalist honors. He is the 5th Roadrunner to win individual medalist honors at the conference tournament and the 7th straight to do so.

Week 8 (May 4, 2022)

Golfer of the Week: Matias Baccola, Central Methodist (Mo.)

 

Matias Baccola won the individual title at the Heart Championships with a three-round score of 206, including an impressive final two rounds of 68 and 66. For his efforts, Baccola was named the Heart Men's Golf Player of the Year and landed on the Heart All-Conference Team.
