2024 NAIA Football Players of the Week - No. 8 (October 21)
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Jake Humphrey of Montana Western has been named the NAIA Football Offensive Player of the Week, Hunter Peck of Carroll (Mont.) has been named the NAIA Football Defensive Player of the Week and Camari Geddis of Friends (Kan.) has been named the NAIA Football Special Teams Player of the Week. The trio was selected based on their performances from October 14 - 20 and were chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees.
Players of the Week are announced weekly throughout the regular-season on Mondays on naia.org, Instagram and X.

NAIA Football Offensive Player of the Week
Jake Humphrey, Montana Western - SO – Running Back
- Humphrey rushed for 215 yards and five touchdowns in a 42-24 victory
- The last time a Bulldog ran for over 200 yards came in 2021
- The sophomore had 20 carries and averaged 10.8 yards per carry
NAIA Football Defensive Player of the Week
Hunter Peck, Carroll (Mont.) - SR - Linebacker
- Led the team in tackles with 10 in a 24-19 win over Eastern Oregon
- Registered three tackles for a loss of total 23 yards and two sacks
- Collected his 100th career tackle as he currently owns 109 career stops
NAIA Football Special Teams Player of the Week
Camari Geddis, Friends (Kan.) - SO – Defensive Back
- Following a block of a potential game-winning field goal, returned it 77 yards for a touchdown to give Friends a 37-31 win over No. 21 Southwestern (Kan.) as time expired
- Play was featured as a “Fantastic Finish” on ESPN’s College Football Final
- Win kept Friends undefeated on the season
