2023 NAIA Football Players of the Week - No. 2 (September 11)
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Gerald Monroe of Graceland (Iowa) has been named the NAIA Football Offensive Player of the Week. Ja'Kobe Clinton from Southeastern (Fla.) has been named the NAIA Football Defensive Player of the Week. Jordan Kempf of Peru State (Neb.) has been named the NAIA Football Special Teams Player of the Week. The trio was selected based on their performances from September 4-10 and were chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees.
Players of the Week are announced weekly throughout the regular-season on Monday's on naia.org, Instagram and Twitter.

NAIA Football Offensive Player of the Week
Gerald Monroe, Graceland (Iowa) - SO - Wide Receiver
- Caught 10 passes for 197 yards
- Totaled four touddowns for the Yellowjackets
- Helped upset No. 7 Benedictine (Kan.) 37-35
NAIA Football Defensive Player of the Week
Ja'Kobe Clinton, Southeastern (Fla.) - SO - Linebacker
- Intercepted pass and returned it for a touchdown
- Forced and recovered a fumble in the red zone
- Helped the Fire rally from 17 points down to upset No. 10 Reinhardt
NAIA Football Special Teams Player of the Week
Jordan Kempf, Peru State (Neb.) - JR - Wide Receiver/Kick Returner
- Returned two punts for touchdowns
- Totaled 166 yards in punt returns
- Kept Peru State in the contest before they ultimately fell 45-44
