Privacy and the security of our members and visitors are very important to the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). Because our Web site ("Site") gathers certain information about visitors during your browsing and registration activities, we believe it is necessary to explain the terms and conditions associated with our Site. We have adopted this Privacy Policy for this Site to ensure responsible use of the information you share with the NAIA and to make you aware of the terms and conditions of your use of this Site. We may at any time revise this statement by updating the Site. You are subject to any such revisions and should therefore periodically visit this page to review the current statement. Note: The NAIA cannot accept information from individuals who are under age 14 without first obtaining parental consent.

Capture and Types of Information Collected

Registration:
If you participate in interactive activities (event and league registration, membership programs, information requests) on the Site, you may be asked to register for a login and password and/or to provide information on registration forms. Unique identifiers, such as logins and passwords, are collected to verify your identity and for use as account numbers in our records system. Your contact information may be used to contact you when necessary for customer service reasons. Financial information collected is used exclusively to bill you for the service or product that you specifically requested.

Cookies:
"Cookies" are small pieces of information that are stored by your browser on your computer's hard drive. Generally, cookies work by assigning to your computer a unique number that has no meaning outside of our Site. Our cookies do not contain any personally identifying information. We may also use cookies to assist us in delivering content specific to your interests. Additionally, after you have entered your member ID and password during a session on our service, we save that information so you will not need to re-enter it repeatedly during that session. Most Web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you may be able to alter your browser to decline cookies. Not accepting cookies may make certain features of this Site unavailable to you.

Traffic Data Collected:
We automatically track and collect information when you visit our Site, including your: (i) IP address; (ii) domain server; (iii) type of computer; and (iv) type of web browser (collectively "Traffic Data"). Uses of Information Collected

The site contains secured and non-secured sections. Your use of the site and your entry of information is at your own risk. The national association of intercollegiate athletics and its partners and sponsors cannot accept responsibility and expressly disclaim all liability for damage or injury that you may incur or that may result from your use of the site or the interception of information you provide, including without limitation, personal information, by a third party.

Use of the Site
The Site is owned and operated by the NAIA and no materials found on the Site or any other site owned, operated, or licensed by the NAIA may be copied, reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, transmitted or distributed in any way. You may access material on the Site for commercial or personal use only, provided you also retain all copyright and other proprietary notices contained on the materials. You may not distribute, modify, transmit, reuse, repost or use the content of the Site for public or commercial purposes without the the NAIA's prior written permission. The NAIA neither warrants nor represents that your use of materials displayed on the Site will not infringe rights of third parties not owned by or affiliated with the NAIA. Because of the global nature of the Internet, you agree to comply with all local rules regarding online conduct and acceptable content, including all laws, rules, codes and regulations of the country in which you reside.

If you use any links provided in the Site to websites not owned, maintained or hosted by the NAIA ("Off-sites"), you will leave the Site. The NAIA is not responsible for any Off-site's privacy policies or terms of use. A link to a service or website outside of the Site is not an endorsement of the service or the website, its content, or its sponsoring organization.

Limitation of Liability

Jurisdictional Issues
Your use of this Site, and this statement, shall be construed and controlled by the laws of the State of Missouri. Further, any dispute arising from your use of this Site, or its Privacy Policy and Terms of Use, or a breach of thereof, shall be governed by the laws of the State of Missouri. By accessing this Site, you agree to personal jurisdiction by the state and federal courts sitting in the State of Kansas, County of Jackson. The sole and exclusive jurisdiction and venue for any and all disputes regarding your use of this Site shall be the state or federal courts located in the State of Missouri, County of Jackson.

Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the NAIA, its officers, directors, employees, agents and sponsors from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses or expenses, including attorney's fees and costs, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Site or any services provided by the NAIA.

Trademarks, service marks and copyrights
Unless otherwise specifically noted, images, trademarks, service marks, logos and icons displayed on the Site are the property of the NAIA or its licensors and may not be used without the NAIA's prior written consent.
